Brown Pelican

The brown pelican is an interesting bird. They can fly great distances, dive from great heights to catch fish near the surface of water, float like a boat, and even travel short distances under water.

Ocean Walk in Daytona Beach, FL

Friday night my wife was out of town visiting her mother and family in North Carolina. Rather than eat at home alone, I drove down to the Ocean Walk in Daytona beach. This was an opportunity to eat, listen to some music at historic band shell, and do some low-light late-evening photography. Also special parking fee at event. I had a fish Ruben with French fries and a couple of Yuenglings at Joe’s Crab Shack. Joe advertises $2 domestic beers during Happy Hour. However, Joe does not consider Yuengling to be a domestic beer even though it is America’s Oldest Brewery. Go figure! If you want to know more about the historic band shell and Ocean Walk visit: and . Here is a video slideshow of a few images I took that night. I hope you enjoy and thank you for watching.
